Season 2 of The Magicians, based on Lev Grossman’s trilogy, is fast approaching, and SyFy Channel has released the first trailer.
If Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them made you want to be a wizard again, it seems Syfy Channel’s The Magicians aims to make you want to run away and hide at the very mention of magic. From what the first trailer for the second season shows, darker times are waiting for Quentin Coldwater and his friends, Which is kind of impressive considering the first season wasn’t exactly full of laughter and sunshine.
In the upcoming season, based to a degree on the third book in Lev Grossman’s fantasy trilogy, magic is mysteriously dying, and it is up to Quentin and his fellow young magicians to figure out how to fix it, or magic will die not only in the magical land of Fillory, but everywhere.
