If it’s possible, the new and final trailer for ‘Fantastic Beasts’ is even more magical and action packed than its predecessors.
November is coming close and with it, the world premiere of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The movie, which began its way as a tiny little book, devoid of any plot has gone on to become what threatens to be the biggest block buster of the 2016. It could also, potentially wake the entire Harry Potter wizarding world from its stupor ever since the conclusion of both the books series and the movie franchise. With many of the original Harry Potter fans growing out of it (nearly every second hand book shop I’ve seen for the past few years holds copies of the books), Potter fandom seemed to be slowly declining. But it seems that neither the die-hard fans nor J.K. Rowling herself could depart from the wonderful fantasy world, which began to be woven in the 1990’s.
But the new trailer shows more than just fantastic beasts. It puts to the fore what seems to be some kind of political conflict in the wizarding society in the United States, a conflict that suggests bigger powers are involved in the story. Perhaps the plot is genuinely going to be more complex, than a simple chase after fantastic beasts on the loose a-la Jumanji, Night at the Museum, Goosebumps and the like. That’s good, because such a conflict may give the spinoff movie franchise the kind of narratorial weight (like the conflict between Harry Potter and his friends and Voldemort and his servants), which made the popular book series so much more than simply a collection of stories about a group of children in a wizarding school.
